IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

The IT Infrastructure Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless business operations by providing comprehensive support across diverse IT systems, encompassing end-user support, networking, servers, and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications, maintaining a proactive approach to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks, to prevent potential disruptions.
- Manage user requests and incidents efficiently via the IT helpdesk/ticketing system, providing timely resolutions.
- Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups in Active Directory/Office 365, ensuring secure access and management.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues, employing strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems.
- Contribute to IT projects, such as cloud migration, system upgrades, and security enhancements, driving business efficiency and growth.
- Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations, fostering effective partnerships.
Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in IT support/infrastructure management, demonstrating expertise in delivering high-quality support.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms, enabling efficient infrastructure management.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, DNS, and DHCP, ensuring seamless connectivity.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills, facilitating effective issue resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
