We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the modernization and decoupling of legacy enterprise portals and web applications.

Job Description:

Lead the modernization and decoupling of legacy enterprise portals and web applications, focusing on technical planning, design, and execution. Key responsibilities include refactoring Struts-based web applications for compatibility and scalability in new deployment environments, collaborating with architects and infrastructure teams, and managing deployment and configuration of WebSphere and JBoss across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical planning, design, and execution of WebSphere Portal and JBoss-based application separation activities.
  • Refactor and migrate Struts-based web applications ensuring compatibility and scalability in new deployment environments.
  • Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to transition workloads from shared to entity-specific hosting.
  • Manage deployment and configuration of WebSphere and JBoss across multiple environments.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development and platform support.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Portal Server.
  • Strong experience with JBoss Application Server and Struts Framework.
  • Proven leadership in managing full-stack teams and delivering legacy modernization or platform decoupling initiatives.
