About the Role

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team in creating scalable and secure healthcare applications using Perl and/or Python.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in backend development with Perl and/or Python, a strong interest in building high-performance healthcare solutions, and a willingness to transition to Perl development. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-scale applications using Perl and/or Python.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Work with relational databases to perform data modeling, data integration, and optimization.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

- Debug and resolve performance and scalability issues in a large-scale production environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 3 to 9 years of experience in software development with proficiency in Perl and/or Python.

- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, OOP, design patterns, and version control.

- Solid experience in working with SQL databases.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience in healthcare IT or working with EHR/EMR systems is a plus.

- Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL frameworks, or working with large datasets.
