Senior Associate Role

Acuity Knowledge Partners is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to support the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team of a global investment bank.

  • Develop high-quality pitch books, capital structure analysis, debt profiles, credit memos, sales memos, and road show presentations with precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct in-depth issuer/target related analyses, including market insights, company overviews, credit highlights, balance sheet assessments, credit ratings evaluation, and competitive benchmarking.
  • Produce timely market updates/newsletters with expert commentary, trading levels, recent issuances updates, and major economic events.
  • Assist clients in preparing and collating Investor Profiles for road show schedules with attention to detail.
  • Verify analyst's work for accuracy and quality.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports to clients and keep seniors informed of any delays or challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with onsite bankers on assumptions, clarifications, and expected output.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of relevant DCM experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with advanced skills a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, Dealogic, Thomson, etc., with the ability to navigate complex systems.
  • Strong understanding of the fixed income market, including its trends and nuances.
  • Ability to work independently and possess leadership skills to manage research daily and apply insights to client ideas.
  • Familiarity with high-pressure situations and ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
  • Post-Graduation in Finance or equivalent qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA, or equiv.) is required.
