Job Description

As a seasoned IT professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of SAP ABAP applications. This role requires strong technical skills and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and drive business transformational change.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining, managing, and maintaining an SAP ECC & S4 HANA development strategy and roadmap based on business context and change requirements.
  • Designing and developing SAP RICEF objects.
  • Understanding and communicating how SAP ECC and S4 interact, support, and integrate with other technologies and information systems.
  • Collaborating with other functional leads and architects across the organization.
  • Managing and maintaining SAP ABAP applications effectively.
  • Leading and supervising teams involved in SAP ABAP application management and maintenance.
  • Ensuring the technical integrity and documentation of SAP ABAP applications.
Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • 14+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Total 6+ years SAP ABAP technical programming experience and managing teams.
  • Experience in SAP ECC and SAP S4 HANA development, including SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, OData Service, CDS Views, Embedded Analytics, etc.
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting complex issues related to SAP ECC and S4 ABAP applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable but not essential:

  • Previous experience in medical devices and/or pharma industry.
  • High-level experience with SAP system administration, configuration, sizing, and performance tuning.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing for S4 migration within the SAP ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of SAP integration methodologies and principles.
  • SAP certifications in ABAP and related technologies.
