Service Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to oversee the maintenance and service operations for our electric vehicle fleet in India.

SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is ₹1200000 (₹100000 per month).
Key Responsibilities- Oversee preventive and scheduled maintenance of electric vehicles to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Closely monitor kilometers lost, reduce breakdown incidents, and ensure 100% vehicle availability on a daily basis.
- Implement and supervise daily and weekly checks to maintain vehicle readiness and reliability.
- Gather and analyze product performance feedback, monitor product failures, and collaborate with internal stakeholders for effective diagnosis and solutions.
- Ensure quality work across all depots, conduct failure analyses, and implement measures to prevent repeat jobs.
- Establish and audit service processes at all depots to enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit warranty claims through the designated portal, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Utilize SAP for effective service management and documentation.
- Manage depot technical staff, focusing on capability improvement and skill mapping to enhance team performance.
- Develop depot service procedures and strategies aimed at increasing productivity while maintaining quality service standards.
- Monitor and reduce turnaround times (TAT) for emergency off-road buses, ensuring prompt service delivery.
- Implement Kaizen activities and maintain optimal parts stock levels at all depots based on historical data and actual consumption.
- Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, and government authorities to address service concerns and provide updates.
- Evaluate and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and communication.
- Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and technologies.
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to quality service and continuous improvement.
