We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. BI Developer (Azure) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Microsoft Azure Stack and a strong background in Business Intelligence development.

Responsibilities:

  1. Translate business requirements into effective BI solutions using the Microsoft BI Stack.
  2. Develop and implement BI solutions with a focus on data accuracy, reliability, and performance.
  3. Leverage Azure Data Factory for data integration and orchestration of ETL processes.
  4. Implement and manage data pipelines in Azure to support BI initiatives, integrating NoSQL data sources.
  5. Develop and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  6. Ensure the integration of data from diverse sources into the BI ecosystem.
  7. Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards using PowerBI, ensuring they meet end-user needs.
  8. Create visually appealing and insightful reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  9. Utilize SSAS for multidimensional and tabular data modeling.
  10. Develop and maintain SSRS reports for operational and business reporting needs.
  11. Monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.
  12. Implement best practices for indexing, partitioning, and query optimization, including NoSQL-specific optimizations.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address business requirements.
  14. Document BI solutions, data models, and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role, with expertise in the Microsoft Azure Stack.
  2. In-depth knowledge and expertise in ADF, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, Cosmos DB (or any other NoSQL DB), BLOB Storage.
  3. Having knowledge or experience in SSAS, SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS, DAX Queries, DWH is an added advantage.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have:

NoSQL Database Expertise:

  1. Design, implement, and optimize high-performance NoSQL databases, particularly Cosmos DB.
  2. Ensure seamless integration of NoSQL data into the BI ecosystem.

Data Modeling:

  1. Design and maintain data models to support business reporting and analytics needs.
  2. Implement best practices in data modeling for scalability and flexibility, including NoSQL data modeling.
