We're seeking a seasoned expert to join our esteemed Technology Risk Management team as a Chief Technology Risk Management Officer. Based in Pune, Maharashtra, this hybrid role will be part of our second line of defense (2LOD) function, reporting directly to our Chief Risk Officer.

The primary objective of TRM is to ensure that technology, cyber/information security, resiliency, data, and third-party risks are clearly understood by our first line of defense (1LOD), transparently reported through governance, and managed within our defined risk appetite and risk management framework.

This influential role will have a significant impact on:

  • Providing strategic oversight and challenge across the 1st line of defense and assessing technology risk elements in alignment with our Technology Risk Management Framework and relevant policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Establishing and continuously improving risk assessment processes and associated controls.
  • Reviewing and overseeing technology high-level assessments (HLA), risk-and-control-self-assessment (RCSA), Evidence-Based Controls Assessment (EBCA), and Risk Appetite of the enterprise (Technology and Information Risk) for evaluating and representing adequate technology risk posture.
  • Reviewing Technology, Information, and Cyber-related Policies, Procedures, and Standards to uncover potential or existing gaps or non-compliance with regulations or risk frameworks.
  • Periodically reviewing and overseeing Technology Risk Management (TRM)-related gaps, issues, risk acceptances, policy waivers, etc.
  • Actively contributing to process improvements through ongoing initiatives, including automating, building efficiencies, and maintaining consistency across deliveries.
  • Supporting team members on various risk assessments and metrics oversight when needed.
  • Preparing or participating in the preparation of executive-level reports for regulators and senior stakeholders.
  • Applying influence to ensure the availability of technology risk input requirements, build consensus on risk mitigation and remediation strategies among global and/or regional stakeholder groups.

To excel in this role, you'll require:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience conducting risk assessments, preferably in technology or financial services, with industry certifications like AWS/Azure/GCP, CCSA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO31000, etc.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with senior management, along with excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in running risk assessments and reporting processes, understanding what's suitable and aligns with Technology Risk, and driving best practices into the wider organization.
  • Ability to articulate risk-related topics clearly across stakeholders.
  • Capacity to take ownership of work and drive it forward in a collaborative manner.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities and deliver under pressure.
