Senior Python Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Python Full Stack Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web-based applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in software programming and/or data warehousing, who can work in an Agile Scrum environment and take ownership of projects from concept to delivery.

About the Role:
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust web-based applications using technologies such as Python and React.
  • Analyze and review business requirements to ensure alignment with technical solutions and deliver high-quality results.
  • Engage in architecture and technical design discussions to enhance system scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Conduct code reviews, peer inspections, and create technical design specifications to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Document detailed designs to facilitate clear communication and understanding among team members.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in web technologies and distributed systems to continuously improve application design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements into existing systems.
  • Communicate technical insights and solutions effectively to stakeholders through reports and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems, or equivalent experience in the field of software development.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software programming and/or data warehousing, in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Experience in languages such as Python, React, and a good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with expertise in React, Python, and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of search technologies and messaging systems, with experience in Solr and Kafka preferred.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries such as Spacy, Camelot, Scikit-learn, and TensorFlow.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Staying updated with the latest advancements in web technologies and distributed systems.
