Key Responsibilities
  • Developing Application Standards: Establish and implement standards, processes, and tools to ensure consistency and predictability throughout the SDLC.
  • Team Management: Directly manage software engineers and project managers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of application development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Driving Improvement: Drive adoption of metrics to demonstrate continuous improvement and alignment with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of application development leadership experience, including 7+ years of technical experience in architecture development, integration of backend systems, and development.
  • In-depth knowledge of integration approaches and architectures, including cloud-native solutions, microservices architecture, and API orchestration.
  • Experience with technologies such as Java, NoSQL, Spring boot, and WebFlux, as well as DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, logging, metrics, monitoring, tracing, service mesh, LTM, GTM, SEO, and GraphQL.
  • Demonstrated success leading medium- to large-scale initiatives/transformations, with proven management experience in strategic planning and budgeting within one or more business groups.
  • Relevant technology certifications and a solid understanding of IT financial structures and ability to manage to corporate financial processes and standards.
