Lead Hydraulic Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Lead Hydraulic Design Engineer to take a leadership role in the design, development, and optimization of hydraulic systems for heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, and off-highway vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop hydraulic circuits and subsystems from concept through production, ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturability.
  • Specify and integrate hydraulic components based on system requirements, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver high-quality products.
  • Conduct flow, pressure, and thermal analyses to validate hydraulic system performance and optimize design parameters, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Support the build and validation of prototype systems, define test plans, and interpret results to guide iterative improvements and resolve any technical issues.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of hydraulic systems into overall product architecture, meeting customer needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in hydraulic design and development, with a strong understanding of system dynamics and fluid mechanics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with suppliers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
