Backend Engineering Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive our backend systems forward. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing and building scalable architectures using Node.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL API design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Development: Develop and maintain applications using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
  • API Design & Implementation: Design and implement GraphQL APIs and multiple system integrations.
  • Architecture Optimization: Optimize and scale backend systems on Azure Container Apps.
  • Integration & Collaboration: Collaborate with teams to deliver robust, secure, and enterprise-level solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 8-10 years of backend engineering experience.
  • Node.js Expertise: Strong expertise in Node.js, preferably with NestJS framework.
  • TypeScript Proficiency: Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture.
  • GraphQL API Experience: Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations.
  • Azure Cloud Expertise: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning).
  • Problem-Solving & Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Technical Skills:

  • Programming: Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript
  • API & Integration: GraphQL, API Design
  • Databases: PostgreSQL
  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Azure Architecture, Azure Container Apps, Scaling, Performance Tuning
  • Quality & Testing: Unit Testing (90-95% coverage), Debugging
