Web Application Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Application Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable web applications for our EdTech platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP frameworks, databases, and web technologies with a passion for building robust solutions that enhance user experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Work with frameworks such as Laravel/CodeIgniter for scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, design and front-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability and security.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebase, ensuring coding standards and best practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways and LMS tools.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues promptly.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
  • 4–7 years of proven experience as a PHP Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience with frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter or Symfony.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, version control (Git), and cloud hosting (AWS/Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with EdTech platforms, LMS or e-learning systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
