Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team.

This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.

  • A minimum of 8+ years of production-level Java development experience is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java Development with good problem-solving skills.
  • Aws technologies such as SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis/Kafka/Flink are essential for this role.
  • Experience working on Spring/Spring-Boot Framework is necessary.
  • Using Terraform to build infrastructure as code is also required.
  • The candidate should be able to build scalable systems and services in the cloud, including calling other REST services from within a REST service.
  • Design patterns and skill using them are crucial for this position.
  • Building, running, and monitoring SaaS applications at large scale is a key responsibility.
  • Multirepo GIT code bases, REST-based web services, testing frameworks like Blazemeter, shell scripts, automated CI/CD pipelines are used in this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to all aspects of software development from architecture to design to estimation to development to testing and release.
  • Developing, debugging, and building automated tests for multiple programming assignments.
  • Partnering with product owners, software architects, and other software engineers to turn high-level requirements into product enhancements.
  • Improving processes and deliverables that increase team effectiveness.
  • Monitoring large-scale production applications and having experience with deployment and infrastructure design and maintenance are necessary.
