  • Threat Intelligence: Continuously monitor web traffic anomalies, bot activity, and take proactive measures to safeguard our applications.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Seamlessly integrate WAF alerts with central SIEM/SOC systems for real-time visibility and collaborate with application teams to validate WAF configurations prior to production rollout.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot WAF blocks, performance issues, and content caching anomalies to ensure smooth application delivery.
  • Access Control and Reporting: Maintain access control, rate limiting, and geo-restriction rules, and generate reports for application owners and participate in threat modeling exercises.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hands-on Experience: 5 to 7 years' experience with Cloudflare WAF or equivalent (e.g., Akamai, AWS WAF).
  • Web Protocols and Application Headers: In-depth understanding of web protocols, application headers, and TLS.
  • DevSecOps Pipelines and App Security Standards: Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and app security standards.
  • Certifications: Cloudflare Certified WAF Practitioner, CEH, GIAC Web Application Defender (GWEB), and OWASP Top 10 – mastery preferred.
