Job Title: Data Engineer

Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to join our organization as a data engineer.

About the Role:

As a data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform. Your key responsibilities will include creating and optimizing complex analytical algorithms to drive business insights, building robust and scalable REST APIs, and working with various databases including SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and graph databases (Neo4j).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bulk Data Pipelining: Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Analytical Algorithms: Develop and optimize complex analytical algorithms to drive business insights.
  • API Development: Build robust and scalable REST APIs using Python frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST.
  • Data Storage and Retrieval: Work with various databases including SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and graph databases (Neo4j).
  • LLM-driven Analytics: Create engines that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) for advanced analytics.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, Python development, and API development.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Python programming language.
    • Knowledge of data processing libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
    • Familiarity with API development (FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST).
    • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Vertex AI).
    • SQL and database design knowledge.
    • Git version control.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LLM integration experience (OpenAI API, Vertex AI).
  • Graph database experience (Neo4j).
  • Experience with data visualization.
  • Understanding of ML concepts and time series analysis.

Technical Environment:

  • Languages: Python, SQL.
  • Cloud: AWS OR Google Cloud Platform.
  • Databases: PostgreSQL/MySQL, Neo4j, BigQuery.
  • Tools: Git, Docker, PowerBI.
