Job Role Description:
The Assistant Manager – Projects role requires overseeing all aspects of a project, from design to execution. This includes planning, coordination, staffing, and ensuring timely completion within budget. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing labour, equipment, materials, tools, subcontracted services, and other company resources to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple project executions and operations, obtaining necessary approvals from clients or project management consultants (PMCs).
  • Track and manage project milestones for timely completion as per the project schedule.
  • Keep the Manager – Projects updated on the progress of assigned projects.
  • Effectively manage resources and team members to achieve project objectives.
  • Support the Manager – Projects in monitoring actual project costs against budgeted costs.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using suitable tools and track progress.
  • Prepare and maintain progress reports, mandatory project documents, proposals for reference, and approval.
  • Attend and participate in project-related meetings with clients and team members.
  • Carry out project inspection activities to identify areas for improvement and rectify them at an early stage.
  • Ensure proper and timely handover of projects.
  • Arrange for timely billing (one bill per month) to maintain project cash flow and follow up for payment.
  • Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)/vendors to procure materials on time.
  • Conduct review meetings with allocated team members and office teams (Procurement, Planning, and Billing).

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills - oral and written.
  • Showcase excellent organizing skills.
  • Exhibit good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
  • Possess a team player mindset.
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively utilize resources and materials allocated for each project.
  • Display proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other technical software programs required for responsibilities.

Salary: Ranging from ₹800,000 to ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
