Role:

We seek an accomplished verification specialist for our GFX Verification team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architects and block design teams to comprehend features and implement verification strategies.
  • Develop a robust test plan for synthetic testing and real workload traces.
  • Analyze and debug verification test failures, working closely with the design team to identify and correct defects.
  • Evaluate AMD next-generation GFXIP performance, power, and functionality expectations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in ASIC verification.
  • Proficiency in Verilog and System Verilog languages.
  • Excellent C/C++ programming skills, with expertise in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC design principles and the ability to debug Verilog RTL code using simulation/emulation tools.
  • Scripting language proficiency, such as Perl or Python.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferable: graphics pipeline experience, knowledge of computer architecture.
  • Must be a self-motivated individual capable of independently driving tasks to completion.

Education:

B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in ECE/ Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering with Digital Systems/VLSI as major, with a minimum of 8+ years of experience.
