Job Title: Project Management Specialist

This role involves working collaboratively with a team to deliver projects successfully. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the design of building structures, demonstrated through their previous work or by showcasing their skills.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparing feasibility reports that meet client requirements
  • Working closely with the team to develop a design specification that meets employer needs
  • Coordinating scope of works with Local Head of Structures
  • Conducting detailed design in accordance with WSP and B Regulations standards
  • Reviewing and monitoring calculation production
  • Ensuring accurate information for project costing preparation
  • Providing essential documentation for tender documents
  • Coordinating contract documents and reviewing input from team members
  • Handling day-to-day queries from the team
  • Reporting discrepancies between constructed works and design intent
  • Project managing commissions using applicable tools
  • Leading the design process and encouraging the team to produce effective solutions
  • Compliance with document control, archiving CDM and QA processes

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven experience in designing building structures
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Familiarity with technical structural software
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project
  • Fluency in English with excellent comprehension of technical terminology
