Job Description

The role involves creating high-performance and scalable web solutions.

This includes developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress themes and plugins.

Responsibilities also include building dynamic and responsive websites using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

Additionally, the candidate will integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.

They will optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and scalability.

Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure robust, secure, and high-quality applications is another key responsibility.

Collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams ensuring clear and effective communication is required.

Best coding practices must be followed, and code quality maintained while adhering to project timelines.



Required Skills & Qualifications

Expertise in custom theme and plugin development.

Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (optional but preferred).

Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and integration.

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

Experience integrating REST APIs and other third-party services.

Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows in distributed teams.

Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, security standards, and website performance optimization.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills — must be able to clearly articulate ideas, requirements, and technical solutions.
