We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Node.js backend developer to fill this key position.

  • This role requires extensive expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features.
  • A strong understanding of clean, maintainable, and testable code practices is essential for success in this role.
  • The ability to optimize application performance, security, and scalability is also crucial.
  • The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
  • This individual will lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers as part of their duties.
Requirements
  • Professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js is required.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript is necessary.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Redis) is essential.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems is also required.
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools is necessary.
  • Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure cloud services is also desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.) is required.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) is necessary.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Serverless (AWS Lambda, etc.) is also desirable.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) for full-stack contributions is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is also desirable.
