Job Opportunity: Data Analytics Specialist

As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical lab data expertise as part of a team to develop and maintain Laboratory Data Management (LDM) tasks for the studies awarded to IQVIA Laboratories. Your primary objective is to meet the external client data reporting needs, while also ensuring that all data management documents are created or reviewed according to standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Python Programming: You will be required to possess basic knowledge of Python programming and data management procedures obtained through prior work experience or education. Equivalent combination of education, training, computing qualification, and experience will also be considered.
  • Developing and Maintaining Good Communications: As a member of the LDM team, you will be expected to develop and maintain good communications and working relationships with team members. Additionally, you may be required to serve as back-up for other Data Team Leads.
  • Interacting with Internal and External Teams: You will interact with internal and external team members to negotiate timelines and responsibilities, and train and mentor junior staff in DM expertise.
  • Quality Control and Edit Check Procedures: You will perform comprehensive quality control and edit check procedures to ensure that all specifications and design documentation are filed and stored according to company policy.
  • Supporting Service Delivery: You will support service delivery with comprehensive process and technical expertise in executing projects, which includes identifying and resolving issues, and effectively working on corrective and preventive action plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with Software Configuration and Validation experience is required.
