Junior Technical Writer Job

This role involves writing, editing, and maintaining software documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, be able to understand complex concepts, and have excellent written communication skills.

  • Job Profile:
  • We are looking for a Junior Technical Writer to join our team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation that is clear, concise, and easy to follow.
  • Your primary focus will be on writing, editing, and maintaining software documentation, including user guides, release notes, and onboarding training content.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software architects, engineers, developers, QA, and consultant teams, to gather technical information and translate it into clear, accurate documentation.
  • You will also be responsible for following internal documentation guidelines and processes, organizing and structuring content with a focus on clarity, and helping identify content gaps to improve the overall quality of documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in writing technical documents.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile development processes.
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Good working knowledge of documentation tools, such as Paligo, Snagit.
