Role Description:

  • We seek an experienced professional to support factory controlling activities with a strong focus on product costing and cost analysis.

This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product costing, variance analysis, and reporting that support operational and strategic decision-making at the factory level.

The ideal candidate will have experience in performing product costing and variance analysis using SAP.

They will collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering teams to understand cost drivers and ensure accuracy in cost allocations.

The professional will monitor standard costs, identify deviations from actuals, and provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities also include supporting inventory valuation and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing cost elements.
  • Prepare financial analyses to assess the impact of operational changes on cost structure and profitability.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Generate and present regular cost center and product-level reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of manufacturing KPIs and cost performance metrics.

Process Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement in cost controlling processes.
  • Support digitalization and automation efforts in cost reporting and factory finance processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in factory controlling or manufacturing finance.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, especially costing-related transactions.
  • Experience in standard costing, variance analysis, and cost optimization.
