Lead the Way in Digital ASIC Development

This technical lead role will oversee the Product and Test Engineering (PTE) activities on new product development of ASIC and SoC products developed in the newly formed Digital ASIC Business Unit. The role will lead a PTE team that drives the post-silicon phase of the product development from first silicon to high volume production.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative, reliable, and efficient Probe and Test solutions on high performance digital & mixed signal ATE platforms for multisite parallel testing.
  • Design and develop ATE software solutions as per the specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Design Team to define and develop DFT/BIST, reducing FFC and improving testability.
  • Execute the Test development phase of projects, including Silicon functionality, Characterization, Yield Analysis, Correlation, and Offshore Production release on time.
  • Supervise, guide, and participate in hiring PTE team members needed for the new product development.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Have 8-10 years' hands-on experience in Digital & AMS Test Development.
  • Be knowledgeable about ATE software development and have a working knowledge of Teradyne Flex (IG-XL, VBT based) and 93K ATE systems.
  • Possess good analytical & statistical skills and knowledge of Perl/C++ programming.
  • Have experience in ATE h/w design & layout for both digital & AMS products, with lead skills in understanding hardware development problems/limitations.
  • Be experienced in releasing multi-site test programs to off-shore production test houses.
  • Be well-versed in the usage of bench equipment such as Oscilloscope, VI meter, Signal generator, and analyzers.
  • Be capable of working with the reliability engineers on product qualification.
  • Be proactive, able to work under own supervision, self-motivated, and willing to accept responsibility.
  • Have the ability to mentor and train juniors if needed.
  • Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and be a team player.
