Content Strategist - YouTube Growth

Job Description

As a Content Strategist, you will play a key role in driving our YouTube growth strategy. Your primary responsibility will be to assist and own our YouTube channel's content calendar, ensuring that we produce high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our audience.

You will be responsible for planning and managing the content calendar, including determining frequency, formats, playlists, and uploads. You will also be expected to optimize content for YouTube SEO, including metadata, titles, tags, thumbnails, and descriptions.

Additionally, you will run A/B testing on thumbnails, titles, and posting schedules to refine our content strategy and improve engagement. You will track and analyze audience behavior and analytics to inform your decision-making and drive growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience managing and scaling YouTube channels
  • Strong understanding of YouTube algorithms and audience behavior
  • Proficiency with YouTube Studio, Analytics, Google Trends, TubeBuddy, VidIQ
  • Balance of creative storytelling and data-driven decision making
  • Proactive, independent, and growth-focused mindset
  • Bonus: Experience with an infotainment channel
