Tax Operations Leadership Opportunity

Our finance team is seeking an experienced professional to lead and oversee the smooth execution of tax operations for our group entities.

  • Tax Payments & Compliance:
    • Manage direct and indirect tax compliance, audits and assessments, litigation management, and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure timely submission of accurate financial data for compliance purposes.
  • Tax Return Filing & Certification:
    • Validate TDS, Service Tax, and STT returns for filing.
    • Prepare and coordinate STT return filings in accordance with regulations.
  • Audits & Assessments:
    • Prepare income computation reports and liaise with auditors/consultants.
    • Support scrutiny cases and attend hearings as required.
  • Litigations & Appeals:
    • Coordinate with consultants for appeals at Tribunal/High Court/Supreme Court.
    • Approve statutory fees and ensure documentation of cases.
  • Other Activities:
    • Review and validate regulatory submissions.
    • Verify STT applicability on new securities.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of taxation laws and accounting standards.
  • Proven experience in financial services with Capital Market exposure.
  • Effective stakeholder management (regulators, consultants, internal teams).
  • Leadership skills to build and manage high-performing teams.
  • Process-driven, problem-solving mindset with execution focus.
  • Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvements.

Requirements:

  • Essential: CA/MBA (Finance) with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Desired: LLB or additional qualifications in Capital Markets.
