Club Management Role

A club management role involves overseeing the overall operations and strategic planning of a fitness club, ensuring seamless execution of events, efficient communication with stakeholders, effective team management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Planning: Coordinate event execution, develop annual activity calendars, and track progress.
  • Communication & Liaison: Act as a point of contact between the club, property owners, external partners, vendors, and members, maintaining minutes of meetings and follow-ups.
  • Team Leadership: Delegate tasks, monitor, and evaluate team responsibilities, ensure staff compliance with uniform policy, and manage disciplinary actions.
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in managing club resources, sponsorships, and budgeting for events, coordinating with management for approvals or procurement.
  • Member Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service, create a welcoming environment, address concerns, and foster a culture of attentiveness among staff.
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with local, state, and industry health regulations, implement safety procedures, and oversee maintenance needs.
  • Program Development: Strategically plan and coordinate engaging programs, wellness challenges, workshops, and social events, collaborate with instructors and wellness professionals, and monitor attendance and feedback.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain documentation of club activities and provide regular updates to the club president, property coordinator, and management.
