Job Title: Research Scientist - Microbial Analysis

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled research scientist with expertise in microbial analysis to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental monitoring of classified areas (air, surfaces, and personnel) to ensure aseptic conditions.
  • Perform microbial testing on purified water and raw water systems.
  • Support cleaning validation by performing swab/rinse microbiological analysis.
  • Participate in qualification of controlled areas, equipment, and utilities (HVAC, water systems, compressed air).
  • Prepare and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), protocols, and reports.
  • Maintain accurate microbiological records as per Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and data integrity requirements (ALCOA+ principles).
  • Support regulatory inspections and customer audits and respond to microbiology-related queries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microbial concepts, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, or a related field.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role or related field.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of microbial testing methods and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working in a cleanroom environment. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times when working in the cleanroom.
