**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced part-time swimming coach to join our team at Vibgyor High Hinjewadi School in Pune.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting their growth and achievement in a supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment results, ensuring seamless communication with parents and school administrators.
• Participate in curriculum planning workshops, training sessions, and special events, such as Annual Sports Day and Inter House Competitions, showcasing exceptional organizational skills and sportsmanship.

A. Student Administration:

1. Ensure that students' development aligns with their age group, fostering desirable personal and social attributes, including fair play, success acceptance, and cooperation.

B. SPA Functioning:

1. Contribute actively to curriculum planning, working closely with the SPA Coordinator and HOD, to develop effective pedagogical approaches.
2. Attend and participate in all trainings conducted at the Centre, staying updated on best practices and new methodologies.

C. In-Class Conduct:

1. Deliver comprehensive lessons, covering all components as per the Lesson Plan's pedagogy, maintaining a high standard of communication using appropriate language, gestures, and technical terms.

D. General Administration:

1. Be present at all Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), maintaining individual and team assessment records, and sharing them with students and parents.
2. Ensure continuous availability for Curriculum workshops, Special Events, IHC, ASD, PTMs on non-working days, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the school's goals.
3. Prioritize ongoing personal and organizational improvement, embracing opportunities for growth and self-enhancement.

E. Maintenance of Records:

1. Synchronize SPA allocation records, student strength, attendance records, and assessment records with mapping of SPA activity, updating records diligently.
2. Document intimation follow-ups with parents/Grade level Coordinators regarding students' absences or prolonged absence.

F. Special Events:

1. Actively engage in planning, organizing, and coordinating Annual Sports Day, I.H.C, NSD, VIVA, Republic Day, Independence Day events, showcasing creativity and event management skills.
2. Micro-plan and follow up for smooth execution of events, procuring necessary materials, certificates, medals, referees/judges, and allocating staff duties in advance.
3. Set up and ensure readiness of activity stations prior to events, guaranteeing a seamless experience for students and spectators.
4. Lead by example, demonstrating sportsmanship and responsible conduct during practice, competitions, and public events representing the school.

Requirements:

• Passion for swimming and coaching, with relevant experience in developing and implementing effective lesson plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
