Senior Lead Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance data solutions that support business growth and innovation.

  • Architect and design complex data pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Services.
  • Lead the development of robust data solutions using Python, PySpark, and distributed computing frameworks.
  • Define and enforce data quality standards to ensure timely, accurate, and complete data.
  • Design and maintain enterprise-grade data models using star and snowflake schemas.
  • Write and review advanced SQL queries, including CTEs, aggregations, and complex joins.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective data solutions.
  • Drive documentation, metadata management, and data governance practices.
  • Guide the development of Power BI and Sigma Computing dashboards and semantic models.
  • Integrate data from relational and NoSQL sources.
  • Lead integration efforts with Informatica Cloud Platform.
  • Architect and implement real-time data ingestion using Kafka, AWS SNS/SQS, and event-driven patterns.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. You should have 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Azure and Databricks, expert-level proficiency in Python, PySpark, and distributed data processing, deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT best practices, and advanced SQL skills.
