Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with expertise in Appium to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts for our mobile applications, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards before release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to gather requirements and define test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure application reliability and quality.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and communicate findings to the development team.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including recommendations for improvements.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test coverage and overall testability.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies related to automation testing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in automation testing, specifically using Appium.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience in mobile application testing and familiarity with mobile testing frameworks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
  • Proficient in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with other testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Understanding of secure identity solutions or related technologies.
