Mobile Tester

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Tester to join our organization in India. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with talented colleagues, and contribute to the success of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery.
  • Provide status to the Test Lead/Manager.
  • Support the testing team.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts, functional leads, and development teams.
  • Support test planning and manage the testing effort for any given release.
  • Design test scenarios and test cases.
  • Bug tracking and reporting.
  • Defect coordination.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the e-commerce domain with expertise in both mobile and web testing.
  • Good experience in API testing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its methodologies, such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile.
  • Proficient in writing and executing test plans and test cases in highly structured environments, performing all types of testing.
  • Solid hands-on experience in Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Black Box Testing, User Acceptance Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, and Regression Testing.
  • Able to identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans.
  • Working experience with Jira and Agile-driven projects.
  • Good to have experience in performance testing and Firebase Analytics.
  • Advantage to have experience in tools for mobile testing.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Implement effective managerial and testing techniques.
  • Ability to interact with technical teams to convert functional requirements into test specifications.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Experienced in preparing test data, preparation of test cases, and test execution.
  • Client-focused with regards to service delivery.
