Data Science Manager Position

The Senior Data Manager is responsible for overseeing the management of Data Science & Analytics hiring to drive business growth and future capabilities. Key responsibilities include team leadership, recruitment deliverables, process adherence and efficiency, stakeholder engagement, and training and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
    • Set clear goals and expectations for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and deliverables.
    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Recruitment Deliverables:
    • Develop sourcing strategy & recruit using multiple channels - agencies, job boards, referrals, campaigns basis generic, niche & super niche skills we hire.
    • Serve as a trusted business partner to the Business Leadership Team, offering counsel, expertise collaboration, and in-depth understanding of business variables in relation with TA function.
    • Drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practice from a recruiting lens including building affinity, sourcing, training, and selection strategies.
    • Lead with data, providing recruiting status reports and communications to senior leadership and key business partners/cross-functional business partners.
  • Process Adherence and Efficiency:
    • Ensure process adherence and develop checks & balances to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve hiring practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
    • Monitor data performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to understand requirements and provide required insights.
    • Act as a point of contact for hiring inquiries and needs, addressing concerns and providing timely updates.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Training and Development:
    • Identify training needs within the team and develop appropriate training programs.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to team members, fostering their professional growth.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in hiring for data management, sharing knowledge with the team.
