Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our DevSecOps department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software delivery.

About the Role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a crucial role in executing, supporting, and continuously improving quality assurance processes within our DevSecOps department. You will focus on test planning, code quality enforcement, vulnerability scanning, and release readiness to ensure secure and reliable software delivery across platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans for application interfaces and operations
  • Maintain Sonar Cloud quality gates and monitor code quality metrics
  • Track defects from QA findings
  • Conduct release readiness reviews and validate quality criteria prior to deployment
  • Prepare and maintain audit artifacts for compliance and internal/external reviews
Vulnerability & Security
  • Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools such as Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio
  • Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers
Collaboration & Support
  • Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues
Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures
  • Prepare weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection
Requirements
  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking
  • Knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g. Sonar Cloud)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
