Job Title: Product Engineering Lead

 

Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced Product Engineering Lead to oversee the development of new and emerging product lines. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will collaborate with senior leaders, product managers, developers, quality analysts, and infrastructure specialists to establish a robust product engineering process.

As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for end-to-end product engineering requirements for multiple product lines, driving execution, and mentoring team members. You will work closely with strategy, product, and business teams to create a product roadmap and drive its execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product roadmaps in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as a thought leader and mentor on architecture, design, and technical aspects of products.
  • Identify and deploy tools, frameworks, techniques, and processes to enhance product engineer productivity and solve technology problems effectively.
  • Oversee product development, testing, deployment, and maintenance within agreed timeframes.
  • Own non-functional requirements (NFRs) for products.
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of product engineering team members.
  • Responsible for product development (full stack) and release, including architecture, design, development, and testing within agreed timeframes.
  • Adapt and iterate quickly based on user and business feedback and metrics.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in PDC's is highly desirable.
  • Well-versed in Agile software development and management methods, including user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, shared ownership, test-driven development, etc.
  • Adept at using off-the-shelf software components rather than building everything from scratch if they meet requirements.
