Dynamic Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics AX specialist to support our enterprise application environment, with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of all core Dynamics AX modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.
  • Strong analytical skills are essential for deep diving into complex concepts after initial knowledge transfer.
  • Debugging existing AX customizations, tracing and understanding business logic in X++ and SQL is a key responsibility.
  • Data extraction and transformation from Microsoft SQL Server will be a primary task.
  • Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for reporting and migration is also crucial.
  • Pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality is a critical aspect.
  • Creating detailed documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps is required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
  • Advanced knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization techniques.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing scripts is essential.
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Familiarity with data conversion best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with other database systems is beneficial.
