Solar Energy Associate Role Overview

This role is part of our Construction team, supporting Sales, Design, and Customer Service teams while reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to installation companies/customers/manufacturers (troubleshooting, problem resolution).
  • Handle and log all technical calls/emails.
  • Perform quality checks & collect installer feedback.
  • Maintain records and prioritize customer service/maintenance requests.
  • Evaluate and escalate critical issues to the Construction Manager.
  • Track post-installation smart meter applications.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in the solar industry or education in renewable energy preferred.
  • Strong communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Engineering/Technical Support background.
  • Knowledge of solar systems and electrical diagrams.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools & MS Office.
  • Problem-solving mindset, self-motivated, flexible with hours.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the solar industry, preferably with a degree in renewable energy. They should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office is also required.
