Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading software development and configuration in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) projects.

This role requires strong technical skills, including experience with ASP.Net, C#, MVC, SQL, VB Script, and VB.Net. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Lead the detail design, implementation, test of MES solution for MES projects based on Emerson MES platform- Syncade as per best practices.
  • Design, implement, and test a full stack of Syncade MES technologies (using ASP.Net, C#, MVC, SQL, VB Script and VB.Net) on Lifesciences Projects.
  • Engage with the project stakeholders, customer/users, conduct workshops to gather and analyze requirements, define functional requirements, and review software solutions.
  • Work with Solution Architects/SMEs to ensure that functional Design and development aligns with User requirements, Solution and guidelines and standards.
  • Develop Webpart, Batch Reports and Integration with L2, L3 and L4 systems (eg ERP integrations- Oracle EBS, SAP, LIMS, CMMS etc)
  • Create and maintain required documentation for the project execution.
  • Proactively manage communications within team.
  • Plan and organize the work of a project team and report progress status.
  • Identify, support to manage the risk and ensures prompt resolution of issues and removing roadblocks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in an IT project lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Azure.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies, such as C#, WCF, ASP.Net, MVC, jQuery, Java Script, CSS, VB.net, XML, XSLT, UML, and MS SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with database management systems, web services, and integration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in software development, preferably in a lead role.
  • Experience with MES (Syncade/Werum PASX/Rockwell Pharma Suite/Opcenter/Camstar, etc.) and Life Sciences industry.
