Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients to evaluate their physical conditions, range of motion, strength, and functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with senior physiotherapists to develop tailored treatment plans, setting specific goals and objectives for each patient's rehabilitation.
  • Administer therapeutic interventions, exercises, and techniques to enhance patients' physical functioning, reduce pain, and improve mobility.
  • Recommend and demonstrate the use of assistive devices such as crutches, canes, or wheelchairs to promote patients' independence.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their caregivers on proper exercise techniques, self-management strategies, and preventive measures to aid in recovery and overall well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to relevant healthcare guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy Technology or related field.
  • Proven experience in a physiotherapy setting, preferably in a hospital or clinical environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations.
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies and modalities used in physiotherapy.
