Job Overview:

Cloud Migration and Administration Specialist

As a Cloud Migration and Administration Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth migration of SAP systems to cloud environments. This involves evaluating customers' landscapes and readiness to migrate their SAP systems to cloud through a structured plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform SAP system migrations to cloud, installation and configuration using SWPM export/import, SWPM backup/restore, and DMO (SUM tool).
  • Evaluate customers' landscape, knowledge of SAP on cloud, and readiness to migrate customer SAP systems to cloud through a structured plan and ensure its delivery.
  • Be the subject matter expert for migrating SAP workloads on cloud and provide appropriate recommendations to overcome blockers.
  • Knowledge of technical architecture and solution design.
  • Working knowledge of backup strategies, patch, note, and migration strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP system installation, upgrade, patching, SAP OS/DB migration, system performance, and downtime optimization.
  • Experience with SAP Basis / NetWeaver administration.
  • Experience with SAP infrastructure design (compute, storage, and networking).
  • Experience in SAP backup and recovery.
  • Experience in SAP high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
  • Experience in SAP system upgrade, enhancement upgrade, security pack & support packages implementation.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, configure as mandatory.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP on cloud.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
