As a Lead Business Systems Analyst at Empower Annuity Insurance, you will play a critical role in driving business transformation and improving operational efficiency. You will lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders, analyze current business processes, and develop solutions to meet business needs.
You will serve as a liaison between various departments, ensuring clear and effective communication of requirements, project updates, and expectations. You will manage project phases and deliverables within Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs) and prepare and maintain key project documentation, including Process Definition Document (PDD) and Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to identify business needs and objectives.
- Analyze current business processes and identify hidden opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as a liaison between various departments, ensuring clear and effective communication of requirements, project updates, and expectations.
- Manage project phases and deliverables within Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs).
- Prepare and maintain key project documentation, including Process Definition Document (PDD) and Business Requirements Documents (BRD).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, MS Visio, and MS Office Suite.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in BFSI or related industries.
