Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions in the cloud.

">

Your primary focus will be on conducting thorough security assessments and reviews of cloud environments, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

">

You will also develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the integrity of our cloud infrastructure.

">

Additionally, you will collaborate with our Cyber Defense team to respond to security incidents and events, as well as work closely with development teams to integrate security best practices into their workflows.

">

In this role, you will have the opportunity to stay up-to-date with the latest cloud native technologies, trends, and threats, and continually evolve your skillset to remain current.

">

You will possess strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, as well as networking, firewalls, VPNs, Azure RBAC, SSO, and other security technologies.

">

Operating experience with Azure networking, firewalls, network security groups, virtual WAN, and common troubleshooting techniques is required.

">

Familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework and the ability to apply critical thinking to its implementation in mature technology organizations is highly desirable.

">

Demonstrable experience with threat modeling, script writing, and automation using languages such as shell or Python is essential.

">

A Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field is required, along with at least 10 years of combined experience in an IT discipline, with a minimum of 5 years in Cybersecurity and 5 years working in public cloud.
