Job Title: Treasury Financial Manager

 

What you'll do:
  • Oversee cash management and treasury operations to ensure optimal liquidity and funding strategies.
  • Manage collateral positions and optimize portfolio financing through securities lending and borrowing.
  • Handle margin calls and monitor short-term liquidity of funds, analyzing causes for change in liquidity.
  • Implement end-to-end solutions for margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure information.
  • Onboard new clients, gathering requirements and showcasing capabilities clearly.
  • Articulate stakeholder expectations, escalate issues timely, and bring about changes persuasively.
  • Enhance knowledge on the client platform/industry, beyond current expertise.
  • Perform activities like data gathering, gap analysis, mapping, data transformation, loading, and reconciliation within the client platform.
  • Work with technology teams, assisting in special projects, developing reports, specifications, and product implementation.
  • Monitor and respond to margin calls accurately and timely.
What you'll need:
  • 3-5 years of experience in treasury, coupled with domain/finance knowledge.
  • Collateral management, financing agreements, and margin methodologies understanding.
  • Experience in securities lending and borrowing, as well as optimizing portfolio financing.
  • Familiarity with data sources like Reuters, Bloomberg, Markit for treasury-related attributes.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of margin calls and security lending.
  • Understanding of treasury/cash management and collateral/liquidity management.
  • Proven track-record of handling projects and improving processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.
  • Effective oral/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with VBA macros or Python is beneficial.
