Advanced Business Insights Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated data science professional to drive business growth through advanced analytics and machine learning techniques. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in applying cutting-edge methods to real-world problems.

• Develop and implement end-to-end data science solutions using structured and unstructured data, driving business outcomes through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop predictive models, statistics, and trend analysis, answering specific research questions.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-ML solutions in various domains such as automobile, manufacturing, e-commerce, aviation, and digital platforms.
• Work closely with stakeholders to develop statistical models, apply appropriate techniques, and present analytical insights to executive-level audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as a data scientist for data handling, extraction, manipulation, creating structured forms of data, and pulling tangible insights from data.
2. Use predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to explore data and answer specific research questions.
3. Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data science solutions using structured and unstructured data.
4. Take inputs from the manager/consultant to develop statistical models (predictive modeling, forecasting etc.) and apply appropriate techniques such as exploratory analysis, regression, and association etc.
5. Develop executive presentations to present analytical insights derived from data analysis.
6. Flexible to work on any problem statement in the space of AI-ML (NLP, CV & Predictive Analytics & Maintenance etc.).
7. Must have business problem understanding specifically from the domain of automobile, manufacturing, e-commerce, aviation, and digital things.
8. Able to deal well with ambiguity and act with autonomy.
9. Collaborate with the team to improve the effectiveness of computational models through the use of data and feedback from stakeholders.
10. Support development of machine learning models with guidance from more senior co-workers.
11. Support and mentor junior data science team members, as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or ML engineer, working on real-world AI/ML projects.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision techniques.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI models (LLMs, VLMs, MLLMs), and an understanding of multi-modal neural networks and transformer architectures.
• Proficiency in Python, R, and key ML/DL libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, tensorflow, pytorch, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of SQL-based and NoSQL databases (mysql, postgresql, oracle, mongodb).
• Experience with statistical tools and platforms like weka, knime, power bi, etc.
• Working experience with big data technologies – hdfs, spark, hive, sqoop, mapreduce.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (aws, azure, or gcp) – any hands-on experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Domain experience in automotive, manufacturing, e-commerce, aviation, or digital platforms is highly desirable.
• Able to work both independently and within a team setting with a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field is typically the minimum requirement. Preferred a master's degree in data science, or a related field for advanced roles.
• Experience: Data scientist requires 5+ years of experience in related fields such as database administration, data engineering, programming, and data analytics.
