Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect - Software Development to join our team at 3110 K-T India.

About the Role

In this critical position, you will be responsible for leading small teams to develop key features, ensuring that detailed designs, code, and unit tests are consistent, robust, future-proof, and scalable. Your expertise in software development processes will enable you to acquire knowledge of key use cases in overlay metrology and provide technical expertise to the estimation process as input to the project plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and demonstrate technical knowledge of OMD software.
  • Be the technology evangelist for OMD product division.
  • Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
  • Ensure that detailed designs, code, and unit tests are consistent, robust, future-proof, and scalable.
  • Understand and make design and architectural improvements on existing software.
  • Participate in requirements definition and review process. Provide Technical assessment of the impact of any changes to product requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise to the estimation process as input to the project plan.
  • Acquire knowledge of key use cases in overlay metrology.
  • Follow KLA defined software development processes.
  • Lead small teams to develop key features on need basis.
  • Contribute to the continued improvement of the organization's development procedures, by looking for opportunities for improvement and proposing ideas for solution.
Requirements
  • Strong programming fundamentals, C++, VC++, MFC, and COM.
  • Experience in architecting systems from scratch, leading project teams.
  • Diverse experience in analysis, design, development, and unit testing.
  • Thorough knowledge of SDLC and software engineering.
  • Able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and project management in both business and technical areas.
  • Possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Willingness to travel to US and other customer places on short assignments.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in developing COM/DCOM using MFC/ATL.
  • Experience in .Net and C#.
  • Knowledge in STL, Boost Library, WinDBG, and Windows Internals.
  • Knowledge of CMM or other process models.
  • Knowledge of KLA specific or general semiconductor domain.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Location

This position is based in 3110 K-T India. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel to US and other customer places on short assignments.About Us
