Senior Thermal Power Plant Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Thermal Power Plant Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing and performing high-quality technical advisory works for gas turbine and gas engine projects.
  • Project management and interfacing between engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and control and instrumentation.
  • Preparing functional designs, specifications, and tender documents for thermal power plant projects according to internationally accepted standards.
  • Reviewing detailed designs from OEMs or EPCs submitted by contractors.
  • SITE AUDITS AND INPUTS TO PROJECT SCOPING.
  • Assessing the technical performance of thermal power plants.
  • Providing project engineering support during the execution phase of thermal generation projects, including responding to technical queries, factory inspections, and testing of materials.

Requirements:

  • BSc or BEng in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in thermal power plants.
  • Experience with organizational strategy formulation.
  • Experience with business process design.
  • Proven expertise in power plant modeling, design, construction supervision, and commissioning.
  • Technical advisory experience towards investors, project developers, and banks.
  • Knowledge of various OEM gas turbines and gas engines models.
  • International thermal power plant project development and delivery experience.
  • Past experience covering a range of thermal power plant lifecycle delivery, including feasibility and development engineering, construction monitoring, witnessing testing and commissioning activities, and operational monitoring/inspections.
  • Knowledge of thermal plant modeling software - including Thermoflow.
