Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new processes or improve existing ones
  • Test system integrity, implemented designs, application developments, and other processes related to infrastructure
  • Update our processes and design new processes as needed to optimize performance
  • Deploy product updates as required while implementing integrations when they arise
  • Automate operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements
  • Specify, document, and develop new product features, and writing automating scripts so that others may understand
  • Work with open-source technologies as needed
  • Work with CI and CD tools, and source control such as GIT

Requirements:

  • Minimum experience required is 5+ years in IT industry
  • Must be Certified-AWS Solutions Architect
  • Experience with and interest in financial markets
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture
  • Experience working with monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK, Grafana, SolarWinds etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux servers (Ubuntu/RedHat Enterprise Linux)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, and experience in troubleshooting issues
  • Extensive background in development and delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle
  • Empathy for client needs with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical problems to nontechnical audiences
  • Exposure to at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, C, C++, Golang

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS
  • Strong experience with databases such as Memcached, Elastic search, Redis
  • Strong experience with Docker and microservices
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Bash
  • Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban
  • Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services
  • Experience in working with Chef for automation and configuration

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or a relevant field
