Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Engineer to join our team in designing, implementing and integrating authorization policies that safeguard sensitive data and scale across multiple enterprise systems.

This role requires working with business stakeholders to develop automation and integrations using Java and Python for policy enforcement, reporting, and monitoring.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in PlainID or equivalent policy-based access control solutions, strong Java and Python programming skills, and a solid understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and Zero Trust authorization models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement authorization policies in PlainID for fine-grained access control.
  • Integrate access policies across CRM systems, cloud data platforms, APIs, reporting tools, and applications.
  • Develop automation and integrations using Java and Python for policy enforcement, reporting, and monitoring.
  • Deliver regional and country-specific access policies ensuring compliance with global data protection standards.
  • Collaborate with business domains to expand Enterprise Policy Engine adoption.

Required Skills

  • Proven hands-on experience with PlainID or equivalent policy-based access control solutions.
  • Strong Java and Python programming skills for automation and integration.
  • Solid understanding of RBAC, ABAC, and Zero Trust authorization models.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations (APIs, applications, files, notifications, reporting pipelines).
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
