PAM Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Account Management (PAM) specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure services department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, engineering, and managing PAM solutions from BeyondTrust to secure critical systems and infrastructure.

Your primary focus will be on configuring and maintaining privileged account vaults, password rotation policies, and access workflows. You will also troubleshoot PAM issues including credential vault failures, session recording errors, and access request failures.

Additionally, you will integrate PAM solutions with other enterprise systems such as Identity and Access Management (IAM), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and ticketing systems. You will manage Azure privileged access using Entra PIM and Conditional Access.

You will utilize scripting languages like PowerShell or Python to automate routine tasks and reporting. Furthermore, you will conduct periodic audits, access reviews, and compliance reporting.

Administrating Active Directory, LDAP, and Entra ID environments is another key responsibility. You will enforce MFA, adaptive access policies, and RBAC across hybrid environments.

Monitoring authentication logs, failed login attempts, and security threats is essential to your role. Ensuring compliance with IAM security policies and regulatory standards (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001) is also a critical aspect.

You will investigate IAM-related security incidents and unauthorized access attempts. Collaborating with security teams to implement zero-trust and identity governance models is also required.

Finally, you will administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux server environments, including patching, performance tuning, and access control.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4–12 years of hands-on experience in PAM, IAM, and authentication technologies
  • Strong expertise in BeyondTrust, Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, and Azure PIM
  • Working knowledge of cloud IAM services (Azure, AWS) and authentication protocols and experience with scripting languages for task automation
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Professional certifications preferred (e.g., BeyondTrust Certified, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator, CyberArk Defender)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, structured and independent working style
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
